कोलकाता के आरजी कर मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल में ट्रेनी डॉक्टर के साथ रेप और उसकी हत्या मामले में तृणमूल के एक नेता को सच्चाई बयां करना महंगा पड़ गया है. उन्होंने कहा कि इस मामले में वह अपनी पार्टी का बचाव नहीं करेंगे. मेडिकल कॉलेज में गिरोह सक्रिय है. उनके इस बयान के बाद टीएमसी ने उनको पार्टी के प्रवक्ता पद से हटा दिया है.

दरअसल, टीएमसी के प्रवक्ता रहे शांतनु सेन ने बुधवार को कहा कि वह इस मामले में अपनी पार्टी का बचाव नहीं करेंगे. इस आरजी कर कॉलेज में पठन-पाठन का काम कूड़ा बन गया है. बाकायदा एक गिरोह इस कॉलेज को चला रहा है. मेरी बेटी भी एक पीड़िता है क्योंकि वह इस गिरोह में शामिल नहीं हुई.
राज्यसभा के पूर्व सांसद शांतनु ने आगे कहा कि अगर आप इस गिरोह को तेल नहीं लगाते हैं तो आपको टार्गेट किया जाता है और अगर आप तेल लगाते हैं तो आप जो चाहें वो कर सकते हैं. आपको किसी खास प्रोफेसर का नाम लेने की जरूरत नहीं है.
बल्कि अगर आप उनके गुड बुक में हैं तो आप परीक्षा में नकल भी कर सकते हैं. लेकिन, जब आप सवाल उठाएंगे तो आपको टार्गेट किया जाएगा और फिर इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप कितने अच्छे हैं.अपनी बेटी के बारे में बात करते हुए शांतनु ने कहा कि
